AMF TCP Task 66 is organizing a free online seminar series about recent research work on Sustainable Aviation Fuels, with the goal to realize the potential of SAF and their emission reduction contribution to the net-zero target.

Seminar 1: Utilization of SAF up to 100%

The first seminar within the online series was held on 24 April 2025 and highlighted recent research on the utilization of Sustainabe Aviation Fuels (SAF) blends up to 100%.

  • Markus Lehner (MUL) - Development and optimization of alternative process routes to SAF with alcohols as feedstock
  • Georg Eckel (DLR) - Assessing climate benefits of SAF: Results from collaborative flight measurement campaigns
  • Gurhan Andac (GE Aerospace) - Fuel qualification status including 100% SAF
  • Astrid Sonneveld (NESTE) - SAF producer perspective and R&D activities with regards to 100% SAF
